Kelsi Palistrant

This young woman is a true student-athlete, earning several athletic honors in addition to boasting a 3.59 GPA within the rigorous nursing program.

On the volleyball court, she led the team in digs for two consecutive seasons and earned MVP following her sophomore campaign.

On the softball field, she led the team in most major offensive categories including batting average, home runs and runs batted in the past two years. Following her freshman season, she was named team MVP, first team All-Conference and the Western New York Athletic Conference Freshman Female Athlete of the Year.

The team captain helped NCCC secure a berth in the highly-competitive Region III playoffs this past spring. She was also the first NCCC player to be named first-team All-Region III since 2001 along with first team All-WNYAC and team MVP honors.

She plans to finish the nursing program at NCCC next year before moving on to a four-year school.
