Rochester, N.Y. - The Generals lost on the second day of the Monroe College Tournament to Niagara CC 77-55. Herkimer came out strong in the second half but it wasn't enough to cover the deficit from the first half. Maria Lomanto (Amsterdam, NY) led the Generals in scoring with 18 points. Lomanto went 3-9 from three point range and also led Herkimer in rebounds with 6. Guard Nylasia Sutton (Troy, NY) tallied 13 points and 5 assists in the loss for Herkimer.
Herkimer will be at home against North Country CC on 1/24 at 5 pm for their next game.
