Rochester, N.Y. - Herkimer fell victim to Niagara CCC 74-73 on the final day of the Monroe College Tournament. Herkimer was down 42-30 at half time but would stage a come back in the second half only to fall one point short giving the Generals their first loss of the season. Mattson Darrah (Porirua, New Zealand) led the charge for Herkimer with 27 points. Both Derrick Felder (Yonkers, NY) and Solomon Silas (Lagos, Nigeria) each added 14 points a piece to round out the Generals offense. The loss brings Herkimer's record of 15-1 on the year.
The Generals will host North Country CC their next game on 1/24 at 7 pm.
