Academic All-Region honorees announced

Niagara County Community College had 17 student-athletes named to the 2018-19 Academic All-Region team as announced by Region III on Tuesday. To be eligible, the honoree must have earned at least a 3.50 GPA, completed a minimum of 24 credit hours and participated in one complete season of a sport during the 2018-19 academic year.

Those honored from NCCC included: April Chambers (softball), Paige Emborsky (women's basketball), Ellie Todd (women's basketball), Melanie Sweeney (softball), Nick Spryopoulos (baseball), Eric Tatar (golf), Brooke Kiefer (women's soccer), Tyler Brill (baseball), Tyler Smith (baseball), Alisha Scroger (softball), Keegan Ernmest (baseball), Kelsey Lachowski (women's basketball), Garrett Baugher (baseball), Nolan Gallo (baseball), Gunner Becker (baseball), Kyle LaPlante (baseball) and Erik Johnson (baseball).
