Niagara County Community College had a pair of dominating pitching performances in a home sweep of Region III rival Jamestown Community College on Saturday afternoon. The Thunderwolves, currently ranked No. 5 in the country, improved to 32-5 overall and 18-3 in regional play. Next up is a home twinbill vs. Genesee Community College. First pitch is set for 1 p.m. Saturday.

Sophomore Matthew Sanfilippo allowed just two hits and struck out nine in the win. The freshman trio of Andrew Stillinger, Matthew Procopio and Steven Merkel each had an RBI and sophomore Howard Stuckey was 2-for-3 with two stolen bases.

Freshman Brendan Morse moved to 5-0 on the season as he allowed just one hit and struck out 17 batters. Stillinger ripped an RBI double and scored twice, freshman Riley Loomis had two RBIs, Stuckey went 2-for-3 and Procopio scored twice and stole three bases.
