SUNY Niagara took a pair of games from NJCAA Div. III opponent Alexandria Technical and Community College on Thursday in sunny Florida. The Thunderwolves improved to 5-1 overall with a doubleheader vs. Ontario College Prep Orange set for Friday evening.

Sophomore Andrew Damiani allowed just four hits and struck out four in a complete-game effort. Battery-mate Steven Merkel was 2-for-3 with a home run and two RBIs and sophomore Andrew Stillinger finished 2-for-3 with a double.

Sophomore Andrew Johnson gave up just three hits and struck out eight in six innings of work. Stillinger clubbed a two-run home run and had three RBIs, while sophomore Owen Silliman ripped a three-run bomb and freshman Nigel Sebastianelli added two hits, two runs and an RBI.
