T-Wolves split with Schoolcraft

SUNY Niagara opened its Florida swing with a split against NJCAA Div. II Schoolcraft College on Wednesday. The Thunderwolves are now 3-1 overall with a twinbill vs. Alexandria Technical and Community College set for Thursday. 

SUNY Niagara 16, Schoolcraft 0 (5 inn.)

Sophomore Joshua Milleville and freshman Cole Phillips combined on a five-inning no-hitter. Milleville had 10 strikeouts in four innings of work. Sophomore Owen Silliman went 2-for-2 with two RBIs, while classmates Steven Merkel and Riley Loomis along with freshmen Gavyn Boyle and Nigel Sebastianelli added two RBIs apiece.

Schoolcraft 8, SUNY Niagara 7 (8 inn.)

Sophomore Nicholas Schulz and freshman Braden Hill homered in the loss. Freshman Aidan Paul had eight Ks in four innings of work.
