SUNY Niagara splits with Chiefs

SUNY Niagara split a pair of games with perennially-strong Waubonsee Community College on Monday in steamy Florida. The Thunderwolves are now 8-4 overall as they prepare for a doubleheader vs. Black Hawk College on Tuesday morning. 

SUNY Niagara 7, Waubonsee CC 2

Sophomore Joshua Milleville improved to 2-0 on the year as he tossed a complete game with nine strikeouts. Freshman Braden Hill clubbed a three-run home run, while sophomores Nicholas Schulz and Andrew Stillinger added two hits and two runs apiece.

Waubonsee CC 6, SUNY Niagara 3

The T-Wolves mustered just one hit in the setback. Freshman Nigel Sebastianelli was 1-for-2 with two RBIs. Classmate Mark Holm threw two innings of scoreless relief.
