Lang qualifies for Nationals

Niagara County Community College freshman Hogan Lang claimed the fifth and final individual spot in next month's NJCAA Division III Championships after shooting rounds of 79 and 92 (171 total strokes) at this past week's Region III Championships held at Timber Banks Golf Course. Lang earned All-Region honors for his efforts. This year's NJCAA tournament is slated for June 5-8 at Chautauqua Golf Club. 

As a team, NCCC finished in third place with 700 total strokes over the two-day event. SUNY Adirondack (667) won the team title and host Onondaga CC (684) was second. Other participants for the Thunderwolves included: freshman Ben Kolbe (94-81-175), sophomore Cam Eddy (84-93-177), sophomore Vinny Falvo (88-91-179) and sophomore Zach Fronckowiak (92-95-187).
