Barrett wins Hudson Valley tourney

Niagara County Community College sophomore Sean Barrett fired a one-over-par 73 to take medalist honors in wet conditions at Sunday's annual Hudson Valley Community College Invitational hosted by Colonie Country Club. Barrett was two strokes ahead of the field.

NCCC was runner-up in the men's team scoring, accumulating 319 strokes - nine back of first-place Onondaga Community College. Sophomore Zac Golibersuch had a 78 and classmate Leo Camilloni carded an 81 for the T-Wolves.

On the women's side, sophomore McCarthy Lang won her fourth event of the season after shooting a 91.

N-Trip returns to the course this coming weekend for its annual local swing - Friday at Chautauqua Golf Club and Saturday at Willowbrook Golf Course.
