Niagara County Community College saw its four-game win streak snapped following an 85-64 Western New York Athletic Conference setback at rival Erie Community College on Tuesday. The Thunderwolves drop to 16-10 overall and 5-5 in WNYAC play.
Sophomore guard Mike McQuillen had a team-high 15 points, but just two of them came after halftime. NCCC was out-scored 48-31 in the second half.
Second-year guard Luis Hernandez had a season-high 13 points off the bench, while sophomore sharp shooter Kyle Williams added 12 points and six rebounds. Classmate Francisco Williams racked up nine points and 10 boards.
Next up for the T-Wolves is a critical conference matchup with Jamestown CC. Tip-off is set for 7:30 p.m. Thursday. It is the final regular-season home game of the year.
