Niagara County Community College jumped out to a commanding 52-14 lead at halftime en route to a 95-47 non-conference victory over visiting Henry Ford College on Saturday afternoon. The Thunderwolves, who forced 32 turnovers, improved to 5-2.
Sophomore guard Donel Cathcart led the way with 20 points and nine rebounds, while sophomore guards Cory Reeves and Tahleek Weekes each contributed 11 points off the bench.
Next up for NCCC is a home date with nationally-ranked Potomac State College. Tip-off is set for 1 p.m. Sunday.
