Niagara County Community College snapped a three-game losing skid as it knocked off visiting Jamestown CC, 81-68, in a Western New York Athletic Conference contest Wednesday night. NCCC, which is ranked No. 18 in the latest NJCAA Div. II poll, improved to 20-5 overall and 6-2 in conference play.
Freshman guard Donel Cathcart finished with 20 points and eight rebounds, while sophomore guard Jamal Pollydore netted 20 of his own. Sophomore forward Fausto Pichardo had 15 points and 12 rebounds for the Thunderwolves, who held a 52-34 edge on the glass.
The T-Wolves are next in action at 3 p.m. Saturday when they host rival Erie CC.
