Thunderwolves roll past SUNY Ulster

Niagara County Community College returned to the court for the first time in 18 days and easily handled host SUNY Ulster, 103-41, in a non-conference contest Thursday. The Thunderwolves built a commanding 53-12 lead at the half. NCCC is now 7-2 overall.

Sophomore guard Cory Reeves and freshman guard Donel Cathcart each had 13 points to lead a balanced effort. Sophomore guards Tahleek Weekes and Elijah Davy had 12 points each and freshman guard LaTerrance Reed added 11 points. The Thunderwolves shot a season-high 64 percent from the field, including 48 percent from the 3-point line.

Next up is a pair of games this weekend at the annual Genesee CC Cougar Classic.
