Niagara County Community College opened the 2018-19 season with a pair of victories over Eastern Pennsylvania Athletic Conference foes this past weekend. The Thunderwolves (2-0) are next in action at 7 p.m. Saturday when they host Jackson College on the opening night of the NCCC Tip-Off Classic.
Niagara CCC 100, Lehigh Carbon CC 49
Sophomore Fode Camara finished with 12 points, nine rebounds and three assists in his NCCC debut. As a team, NCCC dished out 22 assists. Freshman Hunter Anderson netted 15 points, sophomore Christian Nodine had 11 points and four rebounds and classmate Mike Evans chipped in with 11 points.
Niagara CCC 78, Northampton CC 76
Camara (five points, 11 rebounds, five assists, two blocks) hit two free throws with nine seconds remaining to lead the T-Wolves to a come-from-behind victory. Nodine scored 15 of his team-high 17 points after halftime to lead the comeback. Freshman William Kondrat had 16 points and Anderson chipped in with 10.
