Niagara County Community College trailed by as many as 11 late in the second half before a furious comeback led to a key 66-64 home victory against Genesee Community College in Western New York Athletic Conference action on Thursday night. The Thunderwolves improved to 21-6 overall and 5-2 in conference play, while GCC dropped to 12-11, 3-4.

Freshman David Petit-Homme canned a 3-pointer and sophomore Sincere Ramsahai hit two clutch free throws in the game's final 40 seconds to give NCCC a late advantage. Trailing by two points with just two seconds left, GCC purposely missed a free throw and secured the offensive rebound only to have the potential game-tying shot attempt rejected as time expired.

Sophomore Fode Camara led NCCC with 12 points, 14 rebounds and six assists. Ramsahai also netted 12, while sophomore Dytanya Mixson added 10. Classmate Chris Luke had a career-high 16 rebounds. The T-Wolves held a 49-29 edge on the boards.

Next up for the Thunderwolves is a road tilt at Jamestown Community College. Tip is slated for approximately 3 p.m. Saturday.
