Thunderwolves have quick start in road victory

Niagara County Community College built up a nine-point halftime lead and held on for a 75-68 Western New York Athletic Conference road victory over Genesee Community College on Monday. The Thunderwolves improved to 19-5 overall and 3-1 in WNYAC action. GCC, meanwhile, dropped to 11-9, 2-2.

Sophomore Fode Camara led a balanced NCCC attack with 14 points, nine rebounds and four assists. Classmate Sincere Ramsahai had 12 points, while sophomore Najee Scott and freshman Hunter Anderson split 20 points evenly in the win.

The T-Wolves are next in action at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday when they host Mercyhurst North East.
