T-Wolves split with MD JUCO foes

Niagara County Community College split a pair of games against MD JUCO opponents this past weekend. The Thunderwolves, who are next in action at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday when they host Finger Lakes Community College, are now 6-1 on the young season.

Niagara CCC 108, Howard CC 100

Sophomore Christian Nodine poured in a team-best 20 points to lead NCCC to the win in a physical affair that featured 65 fouls and 89 free-throw attempts. Sophomore Fode Camara added 17 points and nine rebounds and freshman William Kondrat had 12 points.

Allegany College of Maryland 92, Niagara CCC 89

Despite 24 points, including six 3-pointers, from sophomore Najee Scott, the T-Wolves were unable to hold on to a late lead. Kondrat contributed 14 points and five rebounds, Camara finished with 13 points and nine boards and sophomore Dytanya Mixson netted 10 points.
