Thunderwolves pick up road win at JCC

Niagara County Community College led by as many as 17 in the second half before withstanding a late charge from the hosts on its way to a 93-88 Western New York Athletic Conference win over Jamestown Community College on Saturday afternoon. The Thunderwolves improved to 22-6 overall and 6-2 in conference play. JCC, meanwhile, dropped to 10-12, 1-6.

Sophomore Christian Nodine had a strong overall game for NCCC, finishing with 15 points, 10 rebounds and five assists. Freshman William Kondrat came off the bench to score 14 points, while sophomore Fode Camara added 12 points and six rebounds and classmate Sincere Ramsahai had 10 points, six assists and four boards.

Next up for N-Trip is a trek to conference foe Mercyhurst North East. Tip-off is set for 7:30 p.m. Wednesday.
