Thunderwolves win twice in Ohio

Niagara County Community College swept a pair of OCCAC opponents this past weekend, improving to 14-3 overall on the season. Next up is the annual Herkimer College Philly Classic, which tips off at 2 p.m. Saturday vs. SUNY Sullivan.

Niagara CCC 84, No. 18 Lakeland CC 74

Sophomore guard Najee Scott had 27 points and eight rebounds as NCCC aveenged an earlier-season overtime loss to the nationally-ranked Lakers. Freshman William Kondrat added 13 points, five boards and five steals, sophomore point guard Sincere Ramsahai chipped in with 12 points and three assists and sophomore guard Daunte Watson netted 10 points, five rebounds and four assists off the bench.

Niagara CCC 97, Lorain CCC 79

Kondrat finished with 15 points and five steals as the T-Wolves closed the first half on a 14-0 run to pull away. Sophomore guard Dytanya Mixson added 15 points, Scott scored 11, Ramsahai had 10 and freshman forward Daviod Petit-Homme chipped in with eight points, 12 rebounds and three blocks off the bench.
