Niagara County Community College scored 62 second-half points on its way to a 97-75 Region III road win at Jamestown Community College on Wednesday night. The Thunderwolves, ranked No. 16 in the latest NJCAA Div. II poll, are now 22-4 overall and 6-1 in regional play.
Sophomore forward William Kondrat led a balanced NCCC attack as he netted 21 points to go with six rebounds. Classmate David Petit-Homme added 17 points and six boards, sophomore guard Adam Hosseini had a career-best 16 points off the bench and sophomore wing Marcellus Cooper chipped in with 13 points and seven rebounds.
Next up for the T-Wolves is a key home date with Monroe Community College. Tip-off is set for 3 p.m. Saturday.
