Niagara County Community College was out-scored 4-1 in the second half of Saturday's 6-3 Region III loss at the hands of host Cayuga CC. The Thunderwolves (2-4 overall & Region III) have now lost four straight matches.
Sophomore Chuck Pfohl gave the Thunderwolves an early 1-0 lead with his first goal of the season. With the game knotted at two at the half, a penalty kick and two defensive miscues cost the visitors, according to head coach Carl Clark.
Sophomore Grayson Dolata notched another goal and assist, giving him a team-high 10 points on the year. Freshman Josh Van Buren also netted his first collegiate goal, while sophomore goalkeeper Evan Rarick made 16 saves.
