Niagara County Community College dropped a trio of Region III road games this past weekend. The Thunderwolves are now 2-9 in regional play with a Western New York Athletic Conference game set for 3 p.m. Saturday at Mercyhurst North East.
Hudson Valley CC 3, Niagara CCC 1
Sophomore Aaron Feltz scored the lone NCCC goal off a pass from freshman Josh Van Buren. All scoring took place in the first half. Sophomore goalkeeper Evan Rarick made seven saves.
Fulton-Montgomery CC 5, Niagara CCC 2
Sophomores Grayson Dolata and Nick Walker each scored a goal, but the T-Wolves could not recover from a 3-1 halftime deficit. Van Buren had an assist and Rarick made 15 saves in net.
Herkimer College 11, Niagara CCC 0
NCCC was out-shot 21-3 and trailed 7-0 at the half. The Generals are unbeaten and ranked No. 4 in the country.
