Niagara County Community College lost its sixth straight Region III game, 5-1, at the hands of host SUNY Adirondack on Saturday. The Thunderwolves are now 1-7 overall and 1-6 in regional play.
Freshman Brayden Skobjak netted the lone NCCC goal with assists credited to sophomores Daniel Dube and Ryan LaRuffa. Sophomore goalkeeper Josh Westphal made 11 stops for the T-Wolves, who were out-shot 16-3 in the contest. NCCC also lost leading scorer Noah Meister to an ankle injury, forcing it to play a man down for a majority of the game.
The Thunderwolves next take the pitch at 1 p.m. Saturday when they travel to Onondaga CC.
