Niagara County Community College fought tooth and nail during a 2-1 Region III inter-divisional loss to visiting Mercyhurst North East on Saturday afternoon. The Thunderwolves, who played a man down for most of the second half, are now 2-9 on the season.
NCCC freshman Trey Lilly netted his first collegiate goal with the assist credited to classmate Noah Meister. Fellow first-year Thunderwolf Robert Siejak made 16 saves in goal.
The Thunderwolves have their final road trip of the year Wednesday when they travel to Corning CC for a 2:30 p.m. start.
