Hesch earns first win as NCCC shuts out Cougars

Niagara County Community College made the nearly seven-hour trek to Clinton CC and came home with an impressive 3-0 Region III victory in its season opener on Sunday afternoon. It was also newly-appointed head coach Dave Hesch's first win at NCCC (1-0).
Sophomores Rob Siejak and Austin Sauer along with freshman David Reiley each netted a goal in the victory. First-year goalkeeper John Pearson had the clean sheet in net.
The Thunderwolves are next in action at 3 p.m. Saturday when they welcome SUNY Broome to Sanborn for their home opener.
