Thunderwolves can't keep pace with FM

After a blistering start under sunny skies, Niagara County Community College couldn't keep up with visiting Fulton-Montgomery Community College, dropping a 5-2 Region III decision on Saturday afternoon. The T-Wolves fell to 2-4 after the loss.

Sophomore Rob Siejak and freshman David Reiley each found the back of the net in the opening 20 minutes for the host Thunderwolves. Beyond that, though, NCCC mustered just two more shots on goal the rest of the way. Siejak and freshman David Powell were credited with assists, while first-year backstop John Pearson finished with 10 saves.

Next up for N-Trip is a key home game against Region III rival and unbeaten Erie Community College. The match is set for 5 p.m. Wednesday.
