Niagara County Community College used a stout defensive effort to upend host Jefferson Community College, 1-0, in Region III action played at Watertown High School on Saturday afternoon. The Thunderwolves improved to 3-9-1 on the year.
NCCC freshman David Reiley scored on a penalty kick in the 30th minute for the game's only goal. It was his team-leading eighth goal of the year. First-year goalkeeper John Pearson made seven saves in goal for his second clean sheet of the season.
The T-Wolves finish up their season at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Jamestown Community College.
