NCCC picks up first win in Fosuhene era

Niagara County Community College picked up its first win of the season in the form of a 3-0 shutout over visiting Region III opponent SUNY Adirondack on Saturday afternoon. It was also the first NCCC victory for new head coach Kennet Fosuhene. The Thunderwolves are now 1-5 on the season.

Sophomores Craig Pellow and Will Quarentello along with freshman Aidan Biggins scored for NCCC, which built a 2-0 halftime lead and held a decided 19-8 edge in shots on goal. Sophomore Tim McKean notched two assists and classmate Andrew Conti picked up his first career shutout after making eight saves.

Next up for the T-Wolves is a trip to local rival Erie Community College. Kickoff is set for 5 p.m. Wednesday at ECC's South campus.
