NCCC booters tie with Corning

Niagara County Community College went on the road and earned a 3-3 tie with Corning Community College in Region III action on Wednesday. The two teams played out two scoreless overtime periods before NCCC won an informal version of penalty kicks, 4-2. The game, however, will still be recorded as a tie via the regional handbook. The Thunderwolves are now 1-10-1 on the year.

Sophomore Tim McKean scored his first career hat trick to lead the NCCC offense. His third goal tied the game 3-3 with just over 30 minutes remaining in regulation. Freshman Alex Taylor and sophomore Steven Daskavitz were credited with assists and freshman goalkeeper Brandon Carter made six saves.

N-trip finishes its season with a three-game homestand against Jefferson Community College (Oct. 12), Jamestown Community College (Oct. 16) and Mercyhurst North East (Oct. 19).
