Fosuhene named new soccer coach at NCCC

Kennet Fosuhene has been recently named head men’s and women’s soccer coach at Niagara County Community College.

Fosuhene comes to NCCC after serving as the head men’s soccer coach at Riverland (Minn.) Community College during the 2018 season. He led Riverland CC to an 8-6-1 mark – the program’s first winning season in eight years. Fosuhene coached two All-Region players for the Blue Devils, who recorded a program-record six shutouts and led the Minnesota College Athletic Conference in assists.

Fosuhene spends his offseason as an assistant coach for the Des Moines Menace of the USL League Two. With the Menace, Fosuhene has coached a pair of league MVPs and helped the team to a regular-season championship.

Other coaching stops for Fosuhene include NJCAA institutions Andrew (Ga.) College and Chesapeake (Md.) College. Fosuhene also played at and earned an associate’s degree from Andrew College. The Kennesaw, Ga. native has a bachelor’s degree in sport management from Grand View (Iowa) University.
