NCCC wins exhibition match vs. Hilbert

Niagara County Community College continued its strong start to the 2021 spring season with a 5-0 exhibition victory over NCAA Div. III Hilbert College on Friday afternoon at the Sahlen's Sports Park in Elma.

The Thunderwolves' overall record remains at 1-0 following a 3-2 road win vs. Bryant & Stratton College (Albany) in their season opener.

Freshman Gourav Vasdev led the NCCC offense with two goals and an assist in the friendly. Sophomore David Reilly had a goal and an assist, while classmate Ethan Lindke and freshman Zach Clayborne netted a goal apiece.

Fellow first-year player Fritz Summer added an assist and freshman goalkeeper Lucas Schiel got the shutout after making three saves. 

N-Trip begins Region III play at 4:30 p.m. Friday when No. 4 Herkimer College visits the Sanborn campus.
