NCCC plays to draw with Villa Maria

Niagara County Community College had its best offensive output of the season as it played to a 2-2 draw against non-conference opponent Villa Maria College at Flash Fields on Wednesday afternoon. 

The Thunderwolves, who mustered 19 shots, moved to 0-6-1 on the season. Villa Maria is now 1-5-1.

NCCC freshman Joseph Jenkins had a goal and an assist, while classmate Emmanuel Mauger added a single tally. First-year goalkeeper Sammy Baker made 10 saves in net.

Fabrizio Ubillus scored both goals for the Vikings.

The T-Wolves return to the pitch at 4 p.m. Saturday when they visit North Country Community College in regional action.
