Niagara County Community College had a halftime lead, but could not hold on as it dropped a 4-2 Region III decision to host Jamestown Community College on Sunday afternoon. The Thunderwolves dropped to 0-8-1 overall and 0-7-0 in regional play.
NCCC sophomore defender Jacob Korte opened the scoring and gave the visitors a 1-0 advantage at intermission. The host Jayhawks, though, responded with four second-half goals - two from David Luque. Korte, though, did notch a second tally later in the game, giving him a team-high four goals on the season.
