Four softball standouts named All-WNYAC

Niagara County Community College had four players named to the All-Western New York Athletic Conference team following a vote of conference coaches. Sophomore Vicki Waugaman was a first-team pick, while sophomores Ana Bryer and Sydney Parker along with freshman Bree Chambers were named to the second team.

Waugaman, a left-handed pitcher and first baseman, hit .448, 52 hits, 27 runs, 14 doubles, two home runs, 37 RBIs and a .638 slugging percentage. In the circle, Waugaman was 7-11 with 14 complete games, 101 strikeouts and a 3.15 ERA over 104.1 innings pitched.

Bryer, a speedy outfielder, hit .373 with 44 hits, 33 runs, six doubles, two home runs and 48 stolen bases. Parker, the team's second baseman, hit .282 with 29 hits, 22 runs and 15 RBIs. Chambers, a power righty, finished 8-13 with 19 complete games, 130 Ks and a 4.33 ERA over 137.1 innings pitched.
