Niagara County Community College dropped a pair of key Region III ballgames at Monroe Community College on Thursday. The Thunderwolves sit at 11-26 overall and 9-7 in regional play with four critical games remaining.
Monroe CC 4, Niagara CCC 3
The Tribunes scored twice in the bottom of the sixth to complete the comeback. Sophomore Vicki Waugaman went the distance, allowing nine hits and four earned runs to go with two Ks. Freshman Erica Justinger was 2-for-2 with a triple, classmate Nicole Human had an RBI and sophomore Ana Bryer stole two bases.
