Niagara County Community College's season came to an end following an 8-3 road loss to second-seeded Monroe Community College on Tuesday. The No. 7 Thunderwolves, who made the postseason for the second consecutive season, finished the year with an overall record of 15-27.
Freshman Tempestt Torres finished 3-for-3 with a home run and a double, while sophomore Vicki Waugaman had two hits and two RBIs for NCCC. Classmate Ana Bryer added two hits, including a triple, and two runs scored.
