Niagara County Community College rolled past visiting Jamestown CC, 90-52, in a Western New York Athletic Conference contest Wednesday night. The Thunderwolves, who netted 30 points in the opening quarter and led 51-25 at the half, improved to 23-4 overall and 6-2 in WNYAC play.
Sophomore guard Alliyah Gillespie scored 21 points to go with seven rebounds and five steals. The Thunderwolves had 53 bench points, including 14 from freshman wing Neraelyn Trueheart, 12 from sophomore guard Jenna Faulkner and 10 from freshman guard Deja Johnson. NCCC also held a 63-35 edge on the glass.
Next up for the T-Wolves is a matchup with rival Erie CC. Tip-off is set for 1 p.m. Saturday.
