Niagara County Community College topped visiting SUNY Broome, 84-26, to earn it's first win of the season on Friday. The Thunderwolves improved to 1-2.
Freshman guard Dakaylah Winfield led a balanced NCCC attack, finishing with 16 points, six rebounds and six steals. Sophomore Neraelyn Trueheart had 15 points, freshman Kendra Lawton contributed 11 points and six boards and sophomore center Alexis Brown finished with nine points and six rebounds. All 12 NCCC players reached the scoring column.
Next up for the T-Wolves is a regional tilt with rival Genesee CC. Tip-off is set for 5:30 p.m. Wednesday.
