T-Wolves dropped by Lakers

A horrid third quarter for Niagara County Community College was the difference as it dropped a 76-61 decision to host Finger Lakes Community College on Tuesday. The Lakers, who improved to 5-2, out-scored the Thunderwolves, 26-8, in the decisive frame. NCCC, which shot just 30 percent on the night - including 16 percent in the third quarter, fell to 4-3 on the season.

Sophomore Neraelyn Trueheart led NCCC with 13 points, while classmates Diamond Fedrick and Shyana McLeod each had 12 points and six rebounds.

Next up for the Thunderwolves is a trip to Western New York Athletic Conference rival Jamestown CC. Tip is set for 5:30 p.m. Wednesday Nov. 29th.
