Niagara County Community College exploded for a season-high point total on its way to a 105-69 Region III road win at Mercyhurst North East on Saturday afternoon. The Thunderwolves improved to 15-8 overall and 7-3 in Western New York Athletic Conference play. The Saints fell to 6-13, 2-8.
Freshman guard Shilah Parker netted a career-high 25 points, including six 3-pointers, to lead NCCC. She added 14 rebounds, five assists and three steals. Sophomore center Diamond Fedrick finished with 24 points and six boards, while classmate Neraelyn Trueheart recorded 20 points, five rebounds and four steals. Freshman forward Shania Clark had 14 points off the bench and sophomore guard Madison Sullivan notched 11 points, 10 rebounds and five assists.
Next up for the T-Wolves is a home date with No. 1-ranked Monroe Community College. Tip is set for 5:30 p.m. Wednesday.
