NIagara County Community College won two games in as many days at the annual Genesee Community College Cougar Classic this past weekend. The Thunderwolves are now 14-0 on the season. The first-semester schedules concludes on Dec. 15 and 16 with the annual Thunderwolves Classic.
Niagara CCC 85, Bryant & Stratton 71
Sophomore Kenetria Redfern finished with a team-high 30 points and 12 rebounds as the T-Wolves built up a 19-point halftime lead. Freshman Paige Emborsky canned five 3-pointers for 15 points, sophomore Shilah Parker contributed 12 points and nine rebounds and freshman Aubrey Halloran recorded a double-double with 11 points and 10 boards. Sophomore Cori Dickson had 11 assists in the win.
Niagara CCC 76, CC of Rhode Island 50
Redfern, an All-Tournament selection, again led NCCC with 17 points and seven rebounds. Emborsky had 16 points and seven boards, freshman Molly Mahony notched 14 points and 13 rebounds off the bench and Parker added 12 points, seven rebounds and four steals. Parker was also an All-Tournament choice.
