Niagara County Community College forced 40 turnovers on its way to a 76-37 road win at Finger Lakes Community College on Tuesday night. The Thunderwolves, ranked No. 8 in the latest NJCAA Div. II poll, improved to 8-0 overall.
Freshman guard Alaina Forbes led a balanced scoring attack with 15 points. She added three of the team's 26 steals. Sophomore Cierra Harrison had 13 points and four steals, classmate Aubrey Halloran finished with 11 points, four rebounds and three steals and sophomore point guard Nickelle O'Neil added 10 points, seven assists and six steals.
NCCC returns to the court at 6 p.m. Tuesday when it travels to Niagara (Ont.) College.
