Niagara County Community College shot a blistering 54 percent from the field en route to a 118-40 non-conference road win at Butler County Community College on Wednesday night. The Thunderwolves, ranked No. 14 in the latest NJCAA Div. II poll, improved to 8-0 on the season.
NCCC sophomore Faith Alessandra netted a game-high 19 points, while freshmen Mia Little and Krystal Smith added 18 apiece. Little chipped in with four assists and four steals, while Smith contributed seven rebounds.
Also for N-Trip, freshman Rachel Kamrowski canned four 3-pointers on her way to 14 points and sophomore Tessa Schuey recorded 12 points, six boards and three steals.
The T-Wolves host Finger Lakes Community College at 5:30 p.m. tonight.
