Keller wins Jayhawk Open

Niagara County Community College freshman Troy Keller continued his winning ways with three more technical falls, a major decision and yet another championship trophy at this past weekend's Jamestown CC Jayhawk Open. The 165-pounder has now won four individual titles this season.

Also placing for NCCC were: Josh Grisewood (125, 2nd), Alex Salvaggio (141, 6th), Ryan Sebesta (165, 6th), Alex Kelly (184, 2nd) and David Carnie (285, 3rd). Carnie, who was wrestling unattached this past weekend, picked up five pins at the event.

Next up is the Region III/District I Championships, which are slated for 10 a.m. Feb. 12 at Mercyhurst North East.
