Keller sets new record in win

Niagara County Community College wrapped up its regional regular-season dual-meet schedule unbeaten following a 44-9 win over Mercyhurst North East on Wednesday night. The Thunderwolves, ranked No. 13 in the latest NJCAA poll, are 3-0 against Region III competition.

Freshman Troy Keller earned a 17-1 technical-fall victory over returning NJCAA All-American Sam Colbert at 165 pounds to highlight the win. It was Keller's ninth tech fall of the season, setting a new school record. Keller also has 34 wins to his credit.

Next up for the T-Wolves is this weekend's Jamestown CC Open, which is slated for 10 a.m. Saturday.
