NCCC tops Muskegon, Ancilla

Niagara County Community College came away with a pair of wins at this past weekend's Muskegon Duals. The Thunderwolves are now 2-1 overall and 2-0 against NJCAA schools in dual meets on the young season.

Niagara CCC 26, Muskegon CC 16

Dakota Gardner (157), Ryan Sebesta (165), Troy Keller (174), Eugene Latson (184), E.J. Sampo (197) and Chibueze Onwuka (285) won six consecutive weight classes to lead NCCC to a 10-point win over the perenially-strong Jayhawks.

Niagara CCC 50, Ancilla CC 6

Zach Burke (125), Freddy Eckles (133), Alex Salvaggio (141), Michael Phelps (149), Gardner (157), Sebesta (165), Keller (174), Latson (184) and Sampo (197) picked up victories in the blowout win.
