Thunderwolves nip Nassau CC

Niagara County Community College wrapped up the first semester with a big 28-26 win over host Nassau Community College Saturday at the Northeast District I Duals. NCCC is now 6-4 in dual meets this year.

Freddy Eckles (133), Troy Keller (165), E.J. Sampo (197) and Jed Middleton (285) each earned pinfall victories for the Thunderwolves. Ryan Sebesta, meanwhile, picked up a 14-2 major-decision victory at 174 pounds. 

Next up for NCCC is a trip to the National Duals in Fort Wayne, Ind. Action is slated for Jan. 5 and 6.
