NCCC wins two dual meets

Host Niagara County Community College swept a pair of dual meets at this past weekend's annual Niagara Duals. The Thunderwolves, ranked No. 11 in the latest NJCAA poll, are now 5-1 overall and 5-0 against junior college competition.

Niagara CCC 24, Spartanburg Methodist 17

Freshman Troy Keller (165) and sophomore Alex Kelly (184) each won via pinfall to help the Thunderwolves to the win. Winners via decision for NCCC included freshmen Freddy Eckles (133), Alex Salvaggio (141), E.J. Sampo (197) and Jed Middleton (285).

Niagara CCC 59, Jamestown CC 0

Freshman Edwin Le (133) won 15-0 via technical fall to help NCCC to the shutout. The Thunderwolves also received nine forfeits.
