Three win titles at Thunderwolves Open

Three Niagara County Community College wrestlers brought home championships at this past weekend's annual Thunderwolves Open. 

Sophomore Cody McGregor knocked off Cole Mangum of Spartanburg Methodist, 6-2, in the finals at 157 pounds. Freshman Troy Keller beat the University at Buffalo's Eric Fasnacht, 10-0, in the 165-pound final. At 184 pounds, sophomore Alex Kelly topped Logan Rill of UB, 8-2.

Freshmen Freddy Eckles (133) and E.J. Sampo (197) each finished second, while classmates Edwin Le (133) and Sergio Crespo (197) took fifth.

Next up for NCCC is the SUNY Oneonta Duals. Wrestling begins at 10 a.m. Saturday.
